Street Art Intervention - Ilan Benaym - Angle

Angle

A metal piece adds a new element at a junction, creating a canvas out of a corner as an ongoing artistic intervention. Hand-folded and punctured with a series of holes, this metal angle, into which rain or other liquid like paint can fall or be poured, is created on a building's corner. Like a piercing on the human body, it calls attention to itself as a sharp and unexpected object jutting out from the surface. Even when removed, its scars are visible as signs of wear, faded colors, drips of paint, or rusty streaks.
